Sustainable employee protection in logistics

Large warehouses with many truck loading bays and entrances often have a problem with insulation and draught. Draughts and cold - especially in winter - affect the health of employees, poor insulation increases operating costs, and fast-running doors do not help when they have to be open. For logistics companies in particular, an efficient and innovative solution to these problems is therefore of interest: airwalls.

AT A GLANCE

What makes our Airwall Grand stand out:

  • reduce energy consumption and thus emissions
  • enable precise control of different temperature zones, even within a building
  • seal off entrances without making them impassable for employees
  • increase well-being in the workplace
  • prevent sickness absence by blocking draughts

Stopping draughts without stopping operations

Draughts can become a long-term health problem for employees of logistics companies. Working permanently in draughts can be unpleasant and increase the risk of colds.

Proper sealing of doors and gates is therefore an investment in employees' health that pays off in the long run.

Preventing draughts not only helps well-being, but also increases motivation and productivity. Our airwall solutions sustainably improve employee satisfaction without disruptive barriers at access points, doors and gates.

Airwall saves energy

Save energy and improve processes at the same time

Handling locations such as logistics warehouses are characterised by busy operations: the larger the warehouse, the more trucks per hour are handled by the employees. At the same time, competition for transport orders exerts great cost pressure on logistics companies. Often, potential savings in operating costs are not sufficiently taken into account.

Our airwalls can seal off air-conditioned air from the warehouse from outside air. This reduces heating and cooling costs.

The air barrier also makes it easy to load and unload trucks. Unlike other physical barrier solutions, Airwalls still allow employees, forklifts and automated guided vehicles to pass through the doors.

Precisely separate temperature zones with Airwalls

Goods that need different storage temperatures can get exactly the environment they need with Airwalls. With our technology, layers of air can be separated so precisely that goods that need to be stored above normal room temperature do not affect the temperatures in the rest of the building. The same applies to cold stores that are in a building with other storage areas without a physical barrier: Here, too, airwalls provide separation of the different air layers and thus prevent the exchange of air in an energy-efficient manner.

For years, an eight-way LWT airwall has ensured that our employees in the logistics area, especially on the ramps, are no longer disturbed by cold and draughts.

For years, our multiple airwall has reliably sealed the loading bays of our seven gates against the heat, especially in summer. A good solution for our "cool" products!
